Scrollable Screenshot
Chrome extension

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 13 August 2026

Scrollable Screenshot does not collect, transmit, or sell any data. It has no analytics, no telemetry, no accounts, and no servers. Everything it produces stays on your computer.

What the extension does

Scrollable Screenshot takes a screenshot of the page you are viewing — including the parts that scroll out of view — and joins them into a single image that you can download or copy.

It does this only when you ask it to: by clicking its toolbar icon, pressing a button in its popup, or using its keyboard shortcut. It does nothing on any page until then.

What it does not collect

The extension does not collect, store, or transmit:

There is no account to create and no server to sign in to. The extension contains no analytics or advertising code, and makes no network requests of any kind.

What it stores, and where

Two things are stored, both by Chrome, on your own computer:

Your captured images. When a capture finishes, the image is saved in the extension's local storage (chrome.storage.local) so the result tab can display it. Alongside the image, each entry holds its dimensions and the title and address of the page you captured, which are used to name the downloaded file and label the result tab. Only the five most recent captures are kept — older ones are deleted automatically. Downloading an image saves it wherever you choose; after that the file is yours and the extension has no further involvement with it.

Your preferences. Your capture options — image format, JPEG quality, resolution, delay per step, and the two toggles — are stored in chrome.storage.sync. This is Chrome's own settings storage: if you have Chrome sync turned on, Chrome synchronises these values across your own signed-in Chrome installations through your Google Account. That synchronisation is performed by Chrome, not by this extension, and it carries only the option values listed above — never your screenshots, page addresses, or any page content.

You can erase everything the extension has stored at any time by removing it from Chrome.

Permissions

The extension requests no host permissions.

Third parties

None. No data is shared with, sold to, or transferred to any third party, for any purpose. The extension bundles no third-party libraries, trackers, or remote code.
